REMS Real Estate Income 50/50 Portfolio
REMS Real Estate Income 50/50 strategy is a yield alternative focused on providing high current income to our investors through paired investment in:
- The preferred equity securities of publicly traded REIT companies
- The common stock of publicly traded REIT companies
This strategy’s primary objective is to generate current income and dividends are paid monthly to mutual fund shareholders. The secondary objective is long-term capital growth through investment in the shares of publicly traded real estate companies. The strategy targets equal weights in preferred and common equities, but the actual allocation may range between a minimum of 25% or a maximum of 75% in either type to better achieve the strategy’s objectives.
